Furwalk

Location:

ARNOLD STATUE
486 N High St # 474
Columbus, OH 43215

Date & Time: The dates of the furwalk are always on the first Saturday of the month (with a few exceptions). The meet-up time is always 6:30pm, and we take a group photo before we start the furwalk. Be sure to follow our social media pages for cancellations of the furwalk due to inclement weather.

The furwalk is “parade-style,” where we form a line and walk along the sidewalk, usually interacting with people along the way for photos and high-fives. Occasionally, the walk happens during Gallery Hop’s “Hops On High” event, which is a street festival, and it allows us to be a bit more “free” with our parade.

Sometimes, the Furwalk at Gallery Hop has a theme, particularly for June as we celebrate Pride Month, and our November Furwalk in which we encourage attendees to invite their parents to attend.

The furwalk is just under 1 mile in length and it takes approximately 2 hours to complete. We take a break in the middle of the furwalk to allow everyone to have a quick rest and grab a bottle of water or snacks that are provided.

Your safety is important to us. The Furwalks take place along a high-traffic street through a very busy nightlife area. It is important that you are aware of your surroundings.

We always need extra volunteers to keep everyone safe; please reach out to any member of Staff to let them know that you would like to help out.

Full suiting and partials are allowed and encouraged. You do not need a fursuit to participate in the furwalk.

This event is open to all ages.
