The AnthrOhio annual picnic is returning Saturday, September 14, 2024!

Location: Blacklick Woods Metro Park, 6975 E Livingston Ave, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 (just East of the I-270 loop around Columbus, Ohio)

The AnthrOhio Picnic will be at Blacklick Woods Metro Park, just East of Columbus. Why this location? Because we can reserve it in advance, it has plenty of counter space for food, and it also has many electrical outlets so people can now bring Crock-Pots and keep things warm!
Please join us on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, from 10am to 4pm (rain or shine) for free hotdogs, hamburgers, and lawn games. This event is free but if you want to bring snacks, chips, sides, beverages, or dessert to share with the group it would be much appreciated!
Fursuits are encouraged but by no means required. There will be plenty of food to enjoy, games to play, and people to meet. We have plenty of space where we will be setting up badminton, volleyball, croquet, ladderball, cornhole, and more.
The reservable shelters at Blacklick Metro Park are clustered together, with their parking areas separated from the other sections of the park. Each reservable shelter has a parking area near it. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN AREAS MEANT FOR OTHER RESERVABLE SHELTERS! There is ample overflow parking in Meadows parking lot (ANYWHERE in this lot is fine).
